Important Campground Notes

Open March 1st thru November 30th. Reservations and drive-ups welcome. Reservations with PA discount accepted by phone only. PA discount does not apply with an online reservation. PA discount applies to the nightly rate only and cannot be combined with another discount or special offer. The area is surrounded by many UTV trails that can be accessed from the RV park via a short drive along Highway 24, but we do not allow recreational motorized vehicle riding or driving within the RV park grounds. Pets welcome. *Plus tax. Additional charge for additional adults and vehicles may apply.

Directions

Located 8 miles from Hanksville and 39 miles from Torrey. GETTING HERE We are located on the South side of State Route 24, a scenic byway leading to the East entrance of Capitol Reef National Park. Exactly located at mile marker 107.84 or approximately 8 miles West of Hanksville, Utah along the Fremont River. If you are coming to Lake Powell from the North you probably pass thru Hanksville, UT. Or, if you are intending to stay a few days and visit Capitol Reef National Park to hike and sightsee we are about 18 miles from the East entrance.

Description

Offroad RV Resort is surrounded by cliffs & spectacular views, very quiet at night, dark sky views, and no manmade structures in view in any direction from the RV park. You don't have to leave the RV park to enjoy scenic views from your site.

Area Attractions

The area is surrounded by many UTV trails that can be accessed from the RV park via a short drive along Highway 24. Other area attractions include Swingarm City OHV, Poison Springs Canyon, Wild Horse Mesa Wilderness Area, Grand Staircase - Escalante National Monument, Bullfrog marina at Lake Powell, Factory Butte, Capitol Reef National Park and Goblin Valley State Park.

Very nice new campground near Capitol Reefs. Has reserse osmosis water for hookups! Near the Freemont River for play and scenic walks. Very nice stop over between Moab and Capitol Reefs. Big sites with lots of improvements and work put into this new campground.
