What do I receive when I join Passport America?

You will receive 24 hr access to the Passport America International 50% Discount Digital Camping Directory, your personalized 50% Discount travel card, Decal, and a Free Online Subscription to the RV America Magazine (the official Passport America club magazine, a $12.00 value). Plus access to numerous programs, discounts, and benefits created exclusively for Passport America RV Discount Camping Card.

Passport America is not only the original 50% Discount Camping Club and the Largest network of Quality Campgrounds of its kind but is also the lowest price.
One Year RV Discount Camping Card only $49

How will time be added to my membership when I join?
A.
When you join Passport America, your discount card will be valid for the term of purchase. i.e. If you sign up for one year in May, your membership will be valid from the date in May you join through the same date of the following year (plus two weeks for shipping time). This will also apply when you join for two years, three years, etc.

Does the Passport America price include hook-ups?
A.
Yes, some have full hook-ups with electricity & water with comfort station and some have electricity, water & sewer hookups.

What does my Passport America RV Discount Camping Card cover?
A.
Your Passport America Travel Card entitles you to 50% off of the regular nightly rate on campsites in hundreds of participating campgrounds across the United States, Canada, and Mexico on a space availability basis. Members must refer to the Important Campground Notes section in each participating campground's Passport America listing for details.

As often as you like, for the term of your RV Discount Camping Card!

How many RV sites and people does my membership discount include on a nightly basis?
A.
Your membership is good for one RV on one RV site. Each park owner/manager will set the terms of how many people within one RV are included in their nightly camping fee. Some campgrounds include two people and some include more. Be sure to check with each campground individually regarding applicable additional charges. Many participating campground listings include their additional charges in the Important Campground Notes section of their advertised Passport America listing following the "*".

Am I guaranteed a campsite?
A.
No, access to Passport America campgrounds is on a space available basis. For specific information on availability, please refer to each park's Important Campground Notes section of each park's listing within our website, mobile apps.

Do I need to be a resident of the U.S., Canada or Mexico to be a member?
A.
No, the Passport America membership is available for purchase by anyone who would like to save on campsite fees while traveling in North America.

How long can I stay at a Passport America participating campground for the discounted rate?
A.
Each park is individually owned and operated. The length of stay is determined by the park. This information is provided for you in the Important Campground Notes section of each park's listing within our campgrounds page on our website or our mobile apps.

When do I receive a Renewal Notice for my Passport America membership dues?
A.
Renewal notices are mailed and emailed to members at least 3 months prior to the expiration date on their ID cards. You will not be automatically charged for your membership dues.

Will I be compensated anything for referring new members to Passport America?
A.
Yes! You will receive a $10 certificate on your next Passport America RV Discount Camping Card renewal for each person that you refer who becomes a member. Call 1.800.681.6810 for details.

What are the Passport America Rules?
A.
1. To visit Passport America campgrounds, you must have a valid Passport America card with the Passport America logo printed on it.
2. For each night's stay at a Passport America campground, you pay 50% of the regular nightly rate.
3. Access to Passport America campgrounds is on a space available basis.
4. Each resort/campground that is affiliated with us is individually owned and operated, and has different rules and regulations. Passport America members must abide by them when visiting. Members should check with each resort.
5. You may use your Passport America travel card as often as you like for the duration of your membership!
6. Please leave your campsites as clean as you find them. Passport America members pride themselves on this point. We also ask that all members be courteous when visiting Passport America participating campgrounds.
7. Passport America discount is not valid with any other discount.
8. We ask that all members who wish to renew their memberships to please do so through the Passport America home office by mail, phone, or by website. Members may not renew at RV shows, campgrounds or through other individuals. Passport America has a toll free number for your convenience and members can renew 24 hours on-line through our website.
9. Due to change in campground ownership, management, etc. information contained in the campground's advertised listing is subject to change without notice.
10. Passport America office hours are Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm CST and Closed Saturday.

Even though we feel that we have done our best to acquire these coordinates, we strongly recommend that you still pay close attention to the map and directions provided. We also ask for you to please call us toll free (800) 681-6810 if you ever need any assistance with the information provided in the campground's advertised listing. Please know that we are always very happy to help you!
Note: There are affiliated campgrounds listed that have felt it necessary to assess additional charges for some services due to circumstances beyond their control. We have attempted to point out those charges with an asterisk (*) so that you are fully aware of those charges in your decision when choosing a campground. We will continue to work with those campgrounds in an effort to assure that you get the best value for your dollar. If you encounter a campground that has assessed you extra for services that we have not indicated in their advertised listing, we would like to hear from you.

What are the procedures for staying in a Passport America campground?
A.
Prior to making reservations, if required, or when arriving at the park, mention being a Passport America cardholder and present your Passport America Card upon arrival. For specific instructions, please refer to each park's Important Campground Notes section within their Passport America Directory listing. Participating campground listings are found within our campgrounds page on our website or our mobile apps.

Do we have to make reservations?
A.
All of our parks are individually owned and operated. Most of our parks you can just drive on in when traveling. However, some of our parks recommend reservations while others require them. This information is listed for each park in the directory. This information is included in the Important Campground Notes section of the campground's Passport America Directory listing. Always be sure to say you are a Passport America Member when making a reservation and have your proof of membership available upon arrival. The Passport America website and mobile applications are updated in real-time, meaning you'll always see the most up-to-date campground listing information that we have in our campground database. However, information included on our website and mobile applications are still subject to change at any time.

How will I know about new campgrounds & resorts that join Passport America?
A.
You will receive online access to the quarterly magazine, RV America, with a listing of new Passport America parks and changes to existing parks. Also, you have 24-hour access to our website which is updated in real time.
