Testimonials

We had stayed here years ago & campground was practically empty, but now you better call ahead! Good management, friendly, clean and right off I-40 for a quick overnight stop. Not as noisy as you would think being so close to the highway. Will continue to stop when traveling west!

As noted by others. Do not expect a resort. It's a very nice park with welcoming hosts. The bathrooms and showers were clean. I-40 runs right beside the park, but the vehicle noise is not distracting. Our stay was worth the Passport America discount.

Stayed here for two nights while visiting meteor crater site. Good basic Park. all utilities worked. write up says Passport America not accepted in April but they took our reservation without a problem. A little bit of Highway noise but that quiets down in the late evening. Good stop for someone passing through.

The campground was covered with red soil, so the bottom of my pants got all red after I cleaned the sewer hose with water. I think it will be muddy when it rains. The manager was helpful and friendly. And it was quiet. Nothing bothered me at the campground. I called and made reservation over the phone. I will stay again if I pass by that area.

Good for an overnight. No frills. Very muddy after a rain. Needed 3 hoses to reach the sewer. Management was a little disorganized. Probably will stay again if they continue Passport discount.

This was a great stop. Just got under new management who is making major improvements. The only draw back was the highway noise, but they are planning to build a hedge to help mitigate the noise. Other than that, no water, electrical or sewer issues. Everything was in good condition!
