Directions

Located 45 miles from Ruidoso and 60 miles from Las Cruces. From Hwy 54 N: Exit Hwy 70 N and this turns into White Sands Blvd. *Do not use Bypass* From Hwy 54 S: This will turn into White Sands Blvd. From Cloudcroft: Take Hwy 82 E and then Hwy 70 S. Do not take Bypass. This turns into White Sands Blvd.

Description

White Sands Community is an award-winning property offering RV spaces and newly remodeled manufactured homes in the scenic town of Alamogordo. The community offers dramatic views of the 9,000-foot Sacramento Mountains.

Area Attractions

Alamogordo is a charming town offering a pleasant year-round climate. Holloman Air Force Base, home to the 49th Wing, is a short drive down Highway 70 to the west. White Sands National Monument, 26 miles from Alamogordo, contains the world's largest concentration of gypsum sand dunes. The National Solar Observatory in Lincoln National Forest is open for tours. Also in the area is the White Sands Missile Range, which features a missile museum and the Trinity atom bomb site.

Stayed here and I would say it was a nice place. Quiet and lots of amenities. 50 amp sites are all back in. Site was big enough to park our pickup beside the 5th wheel.
