Peaceful, quiet and rustic park located in the heart of the Manistee National Forest with 25 total RV sites, can accommodate RVs up to 40ft, back-ins, 1 pull thru site, 20 amp, partial hookups (electric only), tent sites, fire rings, picnic area, BBQ, playground, horseshoes, basketball, hiking, biking, handicap access, recycling, RV storage. Enjoy hunting, snowmobiling, mushrooming, bird watching, kayaking or a peaceful relaxing time in nature.

Important Campground Notes

Open year-round. Limited facilities available Nov-April. PA is not valid Sep 1st thru October 30th. PA is valid for 14 nights max. Reservations preferred. No discounts on tent sites. Pets welcome. *Additional charge for electricity. 4 people per campsite, $5 for each extra person.

M55/M37: 2.7 mi R onto Warfield Rd, L on Coats Hwy, pass Tippy Dam entrance & sign is on the L. M55 W: R on Highbridge Rd over bridge, R on River Rd, & campground is on L at end road. M55 E: Highbridge Rd N, 6 mi to Coates Hwy, E 3 mi to Keith Rd, R at sign & go 1.5 mi & campground entrance is on R. M55 E: L on Highbridge Rd, R on River Rd & campground is on L at end of road.

20 acres with wooded and secluded various sized campsites with the atmosphere of being in nature; peaceful, quiet and relaxing.

Park Events

Fishing Derbies – Spring Steelhead, Fall Salmon and Fall Steelhead. Call for details.

Area Attractions

Salmon, spring walleye, summer skamania, crappie, trout and year round steelhead fishing at world renowned Tippy Dam on Big Manistee River (open water all year) and Bear Creek. Anglers try fishing nearby designated trout steams on Pine Creek or Little Manistee River. Boating sportsmen, the backwaters above Tippy Dam have record walleye, bass, pike, perch, blue gill and other pan fish or ride your jet ski. Thrill seekers try some adventurous canoeing, kayaking or float down the skilled Pine River, Big and Little Manistee River or enjoy a day at the beach on the shores of Lake Michigan. As the day draws to a end watch the sunset over the Manistee Pier Lighthouse from the beach. In addition, be sure to visit the Ripley's Believe It or Not Glass Bottle House/Kaleva Historical Museum in Kaleva.
