Directions

Located 40 miles from Gainesville. Take State Rd 24 W for 20 miles. Then turn right on 90th Street and go 2.5 miles. Turn right on US 27 ALT N and go 12 miles. Then turn right onto NE 4th St and go 0.4 miles to Strawberry Fields For RVers.

Area Attractions

Just six miles west is Manatee Springs. The boardwalk along the spring also runs through the Cypress Swamp and out to a covered dock pavilion at the Old Suwanee River. Just 30 minutes drive to the east is Gainesville that is the home of University of Florida. Gainesville offers a convenient regional airport, major hospitals, movie theaters, big-name restaurants, department stores, and Florida’s Gator’s Sporting events. Also in Gainesville: Butterfly Rainforest, FL Museum of Natural History, Carson Springs Wildlife Sanctuary, Harn Museum of Art, Devil’s Millhopper Geological State Park, Lubee Bat Conservancy, Stephen C O’Connell Center and Gainesville Raceway.
