Small RV park not far from Rt 301 close to zephyrhills. Publix, Walmart, Lowe’s, etc about 4 miles away. This is an older park but it looks like they are investing money into their property to make improvements. Friendly residents, safe neighborhood. *PLEASE NOTE* The only downside I can say is that it is near the train tracks. Goes through several times a day and can be a bit noisy. Does not bother me but if you are noise sensitive, this may not be the place for you.
Rio Bend is a great place to live or spend your winter months. It is clean and has an excellent restaurant/bar with a beautiful golf course. Please join my Rio Bend Facebook group to stay updated with the latest content. https://www.facebook.com/groups/718214693509760
We have had a great stay here. Everything from the prompt call back for a reservation to the easy drive off of the interstate, no stopping and checking in, drive right to your site, the site had a gas grill and was next to a horse pasture. This place is great. Can't wait until the next time we are traveling through the area and we can stay again. thank you for a great week.
Peaceful campground just off the highway but far enough away to eliminate any highway noise. Price is reasonable. My site didn't come with sewer, but there is a dump station. Otherwise the utilities worked well, including the wifi. Cell service is a bit weak. There are a number of activities available. I took advantage of the shooting range--something rare to see at an RV park. I had a reservation and when I arrived there was no one at the office and no packet waiting for me. I had to call in and go through some awkward instructions of how to get to my site and get settled. I would like to suggest they have at least maps available outside the office and even better, a welcome pack with a map and all of the necessary information. It would make things run much smoother. Otherwise I had a great time here and would definitely come again.
Love this park. Also thinking of a month next year .Friendly staff and far enough on the edge of town
Nice park Big sites they also offer boon dock sites. I love there trail for walking. They do have a lot of black flies in November. But the sunsets are worth it. Will be back
Nice RV park with pull through. Only suggestion is that the office look more professional. We enjoyed our stay and would come back
Nice place. Level sites and staff was exceptional. Went above and beyond in customer service.
Awesome and friendly RV park. Every amenity needed is here. Definitely be back when in the area.
Great stopover spot if you are traveling. We were worried that because the truck exit was behind us that it would be loud all night, but it quieted down for overnight.
Very nice clean park. Great place to stay!
It's a nice, basic campground. Friendly folks. Good location near freeway but far enough to muffle most of the noise. Gravel sites that are fairly level (which is difficult in this terrain). Utilities work fine, although I couldn't get the wifi to connect. For the price, this is a decent value and I would be back.
Fantastic campground. All level and spacious sites. Water pressure was a little low but okay. Will definitely be staying here again.
Beautiful campground, awesome staff. We will definitely camp here again.
This place cemented my feelings that Virginia has the best campgrounds. They do not have horses any more but it is a lovely campground, in trees with generous sites. We enjoyed nearby Skyline Caverns. Campground was quiet and has 24 hr security.
One of the nicest stays on our trip so far. Park Host/manager was so kind, polite and genuine.
We just love this RV Park. We spent 2 days. Sandy gave us tons of information on where to go trail riding with our UTV. We plan on stopping here again. I hope you both enjoy your Gnomes we gave ya. It was a pleasure staying with you.
Biggest dog park I ever saw! Sites are generous. A few trees would make it perfect. Loved Pilot mountain hiking.
It's not a resort, but they have level gravel sites, some recreational activities (pool, basketball court, etc.), decent utilities and friendly folks. There is wifi, but it's an extra fee. It's located behind a busy truck stop area, but once you're in the park, you don't notice the noise as much. It's probably a quarter mile from the freeway. Location is also convenient for downtown Franklin.
Very nice campground just over the Louisiana border into Texas. Nice level sites. Seems to be new and under construction. I’m sure it will be awesome when complete. Will definitely visit again.
