A Basic out of the way Campground. If all you need is an overnight spot, this is perfect. Water and electric with a dump station s you leave. One washer (free) and one dryer ($1.00), toilets and showers. No pool, no playground, just a perfect overnight stop. About 1/2 miles off of US40 in a nice quiet area. Only 16 sites, self register, $15 for 30 amp site. Recommended for overnight stop.
Very nice park! Only had one day to enjoy it but will put it ‘on the list’ to come back if we travel nearby again.
Probably one of, if not the, nicest parks we’ve stayed in. Staff is exceptional, going beyond helpful. Waited for us to arrive before closing. Cannot say enough about them. Site was full hook up on a rise overlooking the beautiful lake. Everything worked (water is below grade under a cover). Fairly level and spacious. Would very highly recommend to fellow travelers.
Good place to stop and rest, full hookups gravel plots new owner is very nice really wants to make it a comfortable stay, has tool shed with tools you can borrow to work on your vehicles If needed easy in and out very lenient on check in and out, I'll come back on my way through again, I hope the new owner thrives here. Mexican food and gas station close by, everyone very friendly.
Love this nicely laid out rv park. All pull thru gravel sites with plenty of room and grass between the sites. Full service rv shop on site with a very well stocked rv store. We will be returning if in the area. Stayed here with our 38 ft Class A motorhome with tow. 05-05-2023
So many things to Love at Desert Gardens RV Park "DGRV". I camp mainly full hook-ups but, also enjoy Dry Camping here as well. DGRV has very clean modern showers; 12 big tub washers and 7 big load gas dryers in their laundry room, large activities / bingo room and reading library. Everything appears to be well maintained and the people are very friendly. DGRV Manager, Tiffany, is (IMO) the Best RV Park Manager in Quartzsite. Her consistent willingness to help makes my every stay awesome. DGRV is peaceful at night with birds singing in the morning. Hiking trails are just South of DGRV and located far enough from I-10 that I never hear the traffic even with windows open. I even sleep with my door open as DGRV is lit up enough at night providing a much safer stay than boondocking while still being able to see the stars at night. Full hook-up RV spots are very long and wide. The electrical pedistals are tall allowing easy cord hook up and breaker activation. The water spigots are elevated as well. Just more awesomeness. All my future stays in Quartzsite will be at Desert Gardens RV Park - http://Quartzsiterv.com .
Stopped for the night. New owners are very nice and are slowly upgrading the park. This park used to be poorly run and maintained. The new owners have taken over 2 years ago and are doing a nice job of rehabilitation. It takes time and money so stop here and give them some business. Close to Macs BBQ but we prefer Boondocks for catfish.
I just wanna thank the wonderful ladies who helped us with our check in, they went beyond to get us situated for our overnight stay and after traveling 10 hrs this place is clean and quiet thank you so much! I highly recommend and just right off the frwy
Great park to stay at. Everyone is friendly. A great place to make new friends. Owners have many activities during the week. I've stayed here years ago as an overnighter when traveling from KC to S Florida and back. Now we stay a few times a year for a couple of days to several days. Never been disappointed. Looking forward to our upcoming stay the 1st week of May 2023.
Easy to get to besides were very level nice gravel site with a pull through . Nice park for $20 a night Passport America. Easy to get into town to see all the sights of Goliad.
A++++ This park was fantastic. Location, staff and amenities were all great. We will be back soon!
I came a long I-70 from St Louis. Part of I-70 leading to Exit 262 is a toll road ($7.00). I could live with that. the two mile trek up and down a gravel road was ruff. I would suggest going to exit 266 and coming in that way - still gravel but not as long or Hilly. You will most likely need to call the manager once you arrive - # is on the front door. I was greeted by a very sweet mature lady. She walked me around and gave me the choice of what I wanted. I must admit some spots are tight. A lot of larger 5 wheels were in there. My spot was a bit narrow. If I put my living room slide out. I could have reached into the next camper. Nice view. Train in the distance. I stayed for two nights as I was passing through. worked well for me Class A 32 ft.
My hubby and I have been there twice. We love this park. It’s super clean and the sites are a very generous size. Next time we go we’re gonna book a buddy site and go with our friends. Those sites are very large and share a covered picnic area situated in between the sites.
Stayed here for an overnight while passing through. It was clean, friendly and quiet. Plenty of places to walk my dogs too. I will absolutely stay here again!
Very nice, clean campground. The only drawback was that cable tv is not really available as advertised. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Enjoyed the stay despite the tv issue.
Stayed here for two nights while visiting meteor crater site. Good basic Park. all utilities worked. write up says Passport America not accepted in April but they took our reservation without a problem. A little bit of Highway noise but that quiets down in the late evening. Good stop for someone passing through.
Lovely small lake in middle of Kansas. 4 long pull through s with 50amp E for big rigs. Plenty of 30amp sites, some with water. Dump station. Heated fishing dock. Peaceful surroundings.
Really enjoyed our stay here people very friendly and helpful and very clean and safe.
Stayed here and I would say it was a nice place. Quiet and lots of amenities. 50 amp sites are all back in. Site was big enough to park our pickup beside the 5th wheel.
It’s a great site that’s well maintained. You’ll enjoy your stay.
