Located 25 miles from Winchester. Attn: Do not use GPS unit to locate the park. Please use the following directions instead: From Rte 81 N or S: Take 81 to exit 300, Rte 66 East. Take Rte 66 E to exit 6, Front Royal. Turn off exit onto 340 South. Stay on 340 South through the town of Front Royal for 4.6 miles, turn right at Rivermont Road and drive 5 miles to resort on the left. Do not use GPS coordinates. From points East of Front Royal: Drive Rte 66 West to exit 13 (Linden), turn left at traffic light off exit, turn right at traffic light onto Rte 55 W. Drive 5.2 miles, turn left onto Rte 340 South. Go 1 mile and turn right onto Rivermont Road (Rte 619), go 5 miles, resort is on the left.

Nestled in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley among the Blue Ridge Mountains. Surrounded by the Shenandoah National Park and the George Washington National Forest which provide over 600,000 acres of outdoor recreational opportunities. There is so much to see & do that you will want to return again and again. Family oriented. Western Theme.

Located 25 miles from Winchester. The Luray Caverns, the largest and most popular caverns in the East are a must-see when you visit the area. Be sure to drive the Skyline Drive in Shenandoah National Park, especially during the fall foliage months. And while you're here visit our nation's capital, Washington DC, just 70 miles away. Golden Horseshoe Cafe nearby.

This place cemented my feelings that Virginia has the best campgrounds. They do not have horses any more but it is a lovely campground, in trees with generous sites. We enjoyed nearby Skyline Caverns. Campground was quiet and has 24 hr security.

This place is not as bad as people make it. It is a little shabby but has a nice pool area, petting zoo, etc. I stayed at site 20 which was a long and level pull thru. Neighbors were friendly but some of their sites were very messy and not kept up with. If I were to come back and visit I would request a site between 113-146. It just seemed tidier over there. Overall the place was as quiet, friendly and in a great location to visit Shenandoah National Park and Skyline Caverns. I would absolutely stay here again.
