We stayed at Sleepy Sunflower RV Park on a overnight stay during a long cross country trip. Our original plan was to stay at another RV park in town, but they were busy and did not have 50 amp hook ups available, so they gave us the phone number to Sleepy Sunflower and I'm glad they did. The owner was very friendly and pleasant on the phone telling us to come in and they could accommodate us for the night.
I pulled in a head of my husband to reserve a site as he was filling up next door at the gas station. The owners were very pleasant and when they noticed I had my dog in the car they made sure to pick a semi-shaded grassy site for us so the dog could enjoy her stay as well. The park was very clean and it was obvious that the owners were passionate about making their park a great place to stay.
My husband was directed into our site by the owner. The sites are large and very level. Our fifth wheel is 38' and has 4 slides-outs and we had plenty of room.
The RV park is located just off the highway and close to all amenities. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone staying in Ogallala.
