We were here May 2018. This is a beautiful quiet campground with a huge lake. We paid extra to be on the lake and really enjoyed the birds. We did not pay $4 for resort fee but everything was locked up except the pools. They seem to cater to snowbirds so we were there in the off seasons. Very nice and clean bathrooms and laundry. We had a very large level site. We were around all the park homes and most of the owners had left for the summer. We were about 30 minute drive from the best beach on the gulf, Holmes Beach on Anna Maria Island. Also the Sand Dune restaurant on that island is fantastic but pricey. We will return here.
