We live in Las Vegas. My wife and I have work schedules that are always slammed. It is difficult to get away for more than a week end. A two hour drive puts us "over the hump to Pahrump." Opening up the front windshield curtain in the morning and looking out at the ducks sitting on the lake just across the lane is one of life's pleasures. We have stayed in the same spot each time, just across from the dock. The staff at check-in is friendly and helpful. Restrooms and showers are always clean. Twice, we had trouble with an electrical connection and a tech was there in a golf cart in minutes. There is a casino with a restaurant in bicycling distance. We have not eaten there but understand it is quite good. We don't bring a car and enjoy strolling the grounds with our Yorkie, who loves to worry the ducks. A wonderful place for us. With your Passport America card, how can you beat the price?

This is our favorite campground and we visit often. When we jointed Passport America we were glad to see they were a member. Last stayed here over Memorial Weekend 2013. There was a outdoor concert on Sunday night that could be heard all over the park. Was difficult to get to sleep that night and I would not recommend staying here over another holiday weekend.
Park is always clean and the sights are all great. Level, long and have grass for the dog. Oh yeah, they are dog friendly too.

We have stayed there twice and are planning a trip in the winter. Great park, clean and well kept and the staff was as helpful as you can find. The casino is close by and they have great food and slots. The fishing is good for bass, catfish and bluegill.

We have visited Lakeside several times and it is a great place to stay. It is great hookups and the casino is fun with great food. We are always looking forward to our next stay in Pahrump and at Lakeside R V camp grounds...
