Saddleback Campground - Northwood, New Hampshire
Nestled between the ocean, the mountains and the lakes of NH is a wonderful secret to the world of camping. Whether you are a full timer, or just looking for a quiet place to camp away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life Saddleback Campground in Northwood NH is the place your looking for. Located 30 minutes from Concord or Portsmouth N.H., with easy access, just 2 miles off N.H. Route #4 on Route #43 you will find Saddleback Campground with large sites to fit any size rig.
All of the sites have a view of the pond, with water and electric hook up, picnic table, and a fire pit. Satellite T.V. is available for a small fee and satellite internet is free at all sites. We are located within 1 hour of New Hampshire's lakes, beaches and mountains, and day trips to Maine and Vermont are an easy drive. Nearby are beautiful hiking and walking trails, for all abilities. Within 2 miles you will find a variety of restaurants from delicious seafood, to the local diner, a grocery store, hardware store and an RV store. No need to drive very far to enjoy the sights and sounds New Hampshire has to offer, or for anything you may have forgotten, or need.
If you just want to sit and relax then we have a special "adult's only quiet area" where you can sit, relax and read a book or catch a trout in our spring fed stocked pond. Folks from all over the world have found their way to Saddleback Campground, and call it "home", for whatever length of time they desire. They come and they go but everyone becomes "family" at Saddleback.

Just a note to say a big thank you for all of your friendship during our 2 night stay that turned into 3 weeks. We particularly enjoyed the Christmas in August! You were all amazing hosts! While we were there, we made many day trips to lots of fun and interesting places that were just a short drive away. We visited Historic Portsmouth, the "Strawberry Bank Museum" colonial homes, the New Hampshire and Maine beaches, a local Indian Pow-Wow, Lake Winnipesaukee, the largest lake in NH, and went to Antique Ally. Most of all, we would like to thank you for all the times you went above and beyond the call of duty as campground owners. You definitely have made a name for yourselves and we will be returning when we get back to NH. Save our sites. Thanks so much."
