Directions

Located 21 miles from Crosby and 51 miles from Williston. From US Hwy 85 and Intersection of State Hwy 5, got west 7 miles and RV park will be on south (left) side. From Saskatchewan, Canada and US border, take US Hwy 85 south approx 6.5 miles and turn east (left) onto State Route 5/US Hwy 85. Go approx .5 mile and the entrance is on the south (right) side.

Description

Building is a school that has been renovated into a Motel, Bar, Store and RV park. The front of the school, first classroom, and the two offices have been turned into a convenience store. We will offer Hot Soups, and many variations of Hot Dogs, Pre-Packaged sandwiches for lunches, dinners and breakfasts, sodas, coffee, cappuccino etc.

Area Attractions

Lake Skjermo has 42 acres of shoreline, six camping spots, covered recresation area, picnic tables, and occasionally THE NORTHERN LIGHTS. Writing Rock has Granite boulders inscribed with thunderbird figures are preserved at Writing Rock State Historic Site Most of these artifacts on the northern plains date from A.D. 1000 to A.D. 1700. Things to do in the area include: curling, hunting, photograpy and Karaoke & Music at the Teachers Lounge at the Old School Center.
