Area events: BIG BEND OPEN ROAD RACE in April and October! The April race takes place on US Highway 285 South from Fort Stockton to Sanderson and back (about 59.0 miles each way - or 118.0 miles). Check in time is 1PM and check out is at 11AM CST (no early check ins or late check outs). Credit cards are not accepted. Dogs must be on a leash, pooper scoopers please. *Rates are for two people, $1.00 for each additional person. $2.00 additional for A/C and heat. $2.00 additional cable TV. $2.00 to wash rigs, per vehicle.

Directions:

I-10 Eastbound: take Exit 256 and come through town on Dickinson Blvd. (Business Loop 10) until you see the 285S. (on the right side - just beyond the Deluxe Inn) which curves off to the right. I-10 Westbound: take Exit 261 until you come to the 285S. (on the left side - just beyond the Econo Lodge). After turning onto the 285S., go south approximately one mile to the park on the left.
