Clubhouse now available with bathrooms, coin-operated washers and dryers, and exercise equipment. Sit by the pond, look at the windmill and solar system which keep the pond filled; mini-storage units available at times, garbage cans available at all sites, and picnic at pond. The park is surrounded by trees. Tenting available. Located 1/2 mile from La Luz or 10 miles South of Tularosa and 2 miles North of Alamogordo, 71 miles North of the Texas state line (just North of El Paso, TX), and 65 miles East of Las Cruces, NM. Whitesands Space Museum is in Alamogordo and Whitesands National Park is 15 miles due West of park on Highway 70 West.

DRY CAMPING IS NO LONGER PERMITTED. Dogs must be kept on a leash and cleaned up after. *Rate includes the first 20 Kwhs per night.

Directions:

Located 2 miles north of Alamogordo and 1/2 mile south of La Luz at mile marker 71 on Highway 54/70, on the west side of the highway. Look for the large windmill and pond, surrounded by pine trees.
