From Birmingham, AL: Follow Int. I-59 N towards Gadsden. After about 85 miles, take exit 218 and turn right onto AL-35 (Glenn Blvd SW). In 1 mile, take slight left onto U.S. 11 (Gault Ave) following signs for AL-35 south. After a mile, turn right at stop light onto 5th St. Follow 5th street for half a mile, making a slight left at fork to continue on AL-35 south (Wallace Ave). In 5.7 mi turn right at Camground Entrance sign onto Co. Rd. 261. Campground will be on the right. From Chattanooga: Take I-24 W at Chattanooga, TN. Merge onto I-24 W toward Nashville, TN. Merge onto I-59 via Exit 167 on the left toward Birmingham, AL. After about 39 miles, take Exit 218 and turn right onto AL-35 (Glenn Blvd SW). In 1 mile, take slight left onto U.S. 11 (Gault Ave) following signs for AL-35 south. After a mile, turn right at stop light onto 5th St. Follow 5th street for half a mile, making a slight left at fork to continue on AL-35 south (Wallace Ave). In 5.7 mi turn right at Campground Entrance sign onto Co. Rd. 261. Campground will be on the right.

All the wonders of nature are at your doorstep when you visit with us! Located on beautiful Lookout Mountain in DeKalb County of Northeast Alabama, and near the historic city of Fort Payne, Alabama. The perfect place to catch up on some much needed, and well deserved, rest and relaxation, but is located in one of the most unique areas of the state of Alabama that provides all manner of activities of interest to every age range and financial standing. Various rare & endangered species of fish & plant life can be viewed from afar with a little guidance from the local experts. A nature lover's paradise! White-tail deer, turkey, fox, raccoons, rabbits, squirrels, birds, and various other wildlife can be seen by the careful observer at and around our park and campground.

Located 2 miles from Little River Canyon, 8 miles from Desota State Park, and 8 miles from Downtown Ft. Payne.Cafe located 1 and 1/2 miles from campground that provides breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Several other noted restaurants and attractions within 15 miles.

This was an awesome stop. The owners are working hard to make improvements, and have done a great job so far. Very pretty area for water fall hunting. Nice fire pits and tables that you can hang a lantern from.

Passport member some 10 years and first time motivated to write a testimonial. This park is in an ideal location for a two day plus stay due to local scenic attractions. Owners have their hearts into serving guests and provide excellent value.
