153 Carlton RV Park

153 Carlton RV Park, Carlton, WA -- We(Ron and Debbie) pulled in on the evening of July 5,2014 with no reservation. We were greeted by another guest at the camp Kristein. She assured us it was OK to stay and welcomed us, saying Bob and Betty would be here in the morning. I inquired about the showers, which was top priority at the time, she said they were like you were at home, very clean, I smiled, she was right! Up and ready for a hike Sunday morning we realized there was a free breakfast being served, most of all we wanted to meet Bob and Betty. What wonderful people. We not only shared in the meal, shared in church service, visited, meet many nice people, all with stories of how they came to Carlton, Bob even tried to get us to say yes to reopening the diner! It turns out Bob is the nephew of a great friend I had at my church here in Everett WA. Small world! Wonderful visit, we even spent a second night and enjoyed a hike and swimming in the Methow the next morning. Thank you Bob and Betty for following your hearts! Ron and I pray you are all safe from the fires. Until our paths cross again, many blessings, Debbie and Ron from Mill Creek and Seattle

Zachary Taylor RV Resort

Zachary Taylor RV Resort, Okeechobee, FL -- I reserved two nights in March 2014. Liked it so much that I stayed for a week. I spoke to several couples who had stayed here and ended up becoming permanent residents. There is new owner/management and people were saying that things were even better than before. Before leaving, I also bought here. My permanent home is in Miami, so it's only 122 miles. Even in the summer months we are having a good time: Cinco de Mayo potluck with piñata and a July 4th pig roast. Staff are very friendly. I agree with the comments in the 2010 testimonial viz birds, shade trees, and facilities. Screened (heated in winter) pool is a big plus.

Sheffield RV

Sheffield RV, Rexburg, ID -- I just wanted to write a note to say how good our stay at Sheffield RV Park was. We were there a few days ago (It's July 10,'14 as I write this) The owner, Val, has steadily been making additions and improvements to the park. This is a smaller, rustic park, lots of trees, quiet. New cabins have been added and soon a little food stand will be readied. We've been here a couple of times and just wanted to comment on our stay. The park is just south of Rexburg and not a great distance, maybe 22 mile north of Idaho Falls if more significant facilities are needed. Our best to all, Gary

Hager's Hilly Haven Campground

Hager's Hilly Haven Campground, Cascade, WI -- A wonderful place to be to avoid the Fourth of July weekend. . .a little off the beaten path, but well worth it. 50A FHU service $20 - excellent.

Bear Mountain RV Resort & Campground

Bear Mountain RV Resort & Campground, Redding, CA -- We have been here 3 different times now. This park is a bit off the freeway but it's a nice place with a great swimming pool and love the rate! We stayed two nights for $26 can't beat that!
