Cain's Creekside RV Park
Cain's Creekside RV Park, Hahira, GA -- We have been to Cains Creek twice. It is quiet, laid back and family oriented!
The Owners are great folks and there to please their camping friends.
They are just a few moments off the Interstate and you will be happy you made the stop!
We will be there in 2 weeks for a few days on the way to Florida!
Fair Harbor RV Park
Fair Harbor RV Park, Perry, GA -- Nice place, great people - Free Pancakes on Saturdays!
We've stayed at Fair Harbor for 6 nights and enjoyed each day there. PassportAmerica sites are all in the front area of the park for easier access(this park has 4 or 5 different rv areas, depending on the type of rv and your length of stay).
I would suggest staying away from sites 1 thru 7 if possible. They are easy in, but not easy out since you have to maneuver through the back end of the park to leave, with several turns and very tight corners.
The bathrooms and showers here are excellent, and the pond is beautiful. Also, the park is home to 20 to 30 goats and are very friendly(they are fenced).
The downside to our stay was that the sewer and water connections were 10 to 20 feet BEHIND the electrical connection. Since most class A rvs like ours have the electrical in the rear and the sewer and water near the mid part of the coach, this means you'll possibly have to have several sewer hoses connected just to reach the sewer, as well as possibly two water hoses to stretch to the water line. Without a tow vehicle you may be able to stay farther back, but if you're like us, our tow vehicle caused us to have to pull to the very front of the site to fit.
All in all, it's an excellent and well run park, and easy and very cost friendly if you're a Passport member, with very little limits on how long you want to stay with the Passport discount. Nice!
Scenic Mountain RV Park And Campground
Scenic Mountain RV Park And Campground, Milledgeville, GA -- What an amazing stay we had at Scenic Mountain RV Park and Campground! We originally planned to stay two nights, but we liked it so much we stayed a third. Butch, the owner is simply awesome! He was available, friendly, and funny! Best RV Park so far on our journey and we will be returning again! Full hook-ups, water, clean bathrooms and showers, clean and spacious laundry room, helpful and friendly staff, walking trails, salt water pool, pet playground, and much more...we simply loved it! Close to grocery stores and town. We lacked for nothing during our stay and we will be returning soon! Kudos to Butch for such a nice stay for my family and I!
Wagon Master RV Park
Wagon Master RV Park, Sanger, TX -- We go to Texas every year for the winter. For the last four years we have stayed at Wagon Master coming and going. If you have never stayed here you are missing out. We have stayed at a lot of PPA parks, this is number one in our book. We have a 42' motor home we get in and out so easy, nice big sites and wide roads. Ken and Janet are the nicest and most helpful people you will ever run into. Last year in March we were on our way home and we had broke a hydraulic line on our slide outs and they would not stay in. Ken and his camp host helped us push them back in then cut boards to keep them in so we could get home. This year on our way south we called for a site and they were all ready booked full.Janet said if we could get by with just electricity she would have Ken move their own camper and we could have their personal site by the wash house. Gail and I would like to say thanks to Ken and Janet for all their hard work and for a great place to stay. P.S. You have to see the watch dog with the Alpacas it is amazing how their dog watches over the Alpacas. Thanks again Ken and Janet. From Jim and Gail Lauby.
