I chose this place for proximity to Painted Desert, Petrified Forest and Standin' on the Corner in Winslow, Arizona! At the current time renovations are under way and it looks like a construction zone and a bit time worn. The owners are very friendly and seem sincere in their desire to upgrade this location to resort status. The electric was very good and strong, water and sewer good, site reasonably level and surprisingly quiet. We were only here three nights and would not hesitate to return! Good Luck, Jeri P.s. We were in the Voltage Toyhauler!

We are new owners and took possession of the Park January 1, 2016. We will strive to make any and all changes feasible that have been pointed out in the reviews on line. We have started on some already and hope to get a lot completed by early summer. Thank you for your patience during our transition period. Staff and family of Sun Valley RV Resort

A good place for an overnight spot. This is the closest camping spot to the Petrified Forest Forest national Park. It backes to the freeway but there are sites closer to the access road with no traffic noise. The couple that run the park are friendly and meet you at your rig to register you. The sites are gravel and level with 30 and 50 amp service, water and electricity. Visually not the best park but this is an overnight bargain if you have Passport America! No other discounts available.

Great friendly owners. Nothing fancy, but a great overnight park and only $19.50 for 50 amp, level gravel sites. Wifi available but didn't ask for password. Didn't use bathrooms or showers. No chickens around anymore. Can barely hear traffic on interstate. We try to support the small park owners as much as we can and this is one I recommend. Only 11 miles to Petrified Forest NP and only took us 2 1/2 hours to make the whole park loop from RV park back to RV park.

Friendly, helpful couple own the park. Right off I-40, E of Holbrook, AZ. Stayed there 3 or 4 times as of 2013. Showers & bathrooms adequate. Lots of petrified wood for sale. Price is right, and +-200 miles between Phoenix & Albuquerque.

Easy off; easy on I-40. Full hook-ups on gravel. Pulled right into our site, and bingo, we were parked AND level. PA rate was $16.50. Wife loved looking at all the petrified wood -- interesting collection. Owner very friendly and accommodating. We asked for a site near a WiFi hotspot and she held one for us. Great one night stop!

This is certainly a unique spot. In fact, it is the ONLY spot for miles! If you are tired and cant drive another hour, this is it! It is serviceable for overnight but just lacks "curb appeal". In 95 degrees, however, it would be a most welcome sight! Pics posted here.

Owners are very nice, location is right off I 40, sites are gravel. Only 1 bathroom and no showers. Great for 1 night.

Eva Higginson
Nice pull thru spot for we triple tow and need a large spot. Greeted very friendly.

Park is right off the freeway. Very convenient. Bathrooms were clean. Easy to get to the tourist places in the area. The site was level with easy pull-through access. Only complaint was we were parked near the chicken coops and the rooster crowed at 1:30am.
