This campground is small and from the looks of it, the owners are in the process of remodeling and improving the parks infrastructure. But the main reason why they've earned such high marks is for their compassion for animals in need.
While staying in the rv park two stray dogs entered the park searching for food and water, both dogs though dehydradted and emaciated were very friendly and in desperate need for human intervention. We did what we could for the animals, but unfortunately we were scheduled to check out that day and could no longer care for them. We approached the owner of the RV park, a dog owner himself, who happened to have a large dog kennel which he gladly volunteered to house and care for the animals until other means of care could be provided. His willingness to go the extra mile displayed that there are wonderful people in every corner of this country who rise to the occasion when compassion is needed for one of God's creature's.

I chose this place for proximity to Painted Desert, Petrified Forest and Standin' on the Corner in Winslow, Arizona!
At the current time renovations are under way and it looks like a construction zone and a bit time worn.
The owners are very friendly and seem sincere in their desire to upgrade this location to resort status.
The electric was very good and strong, water and sewer good, site reasonably level and surprisingly quiet.
We were only here three nights and would not hesitate to return!
Good Luck, Jeri
P.s. We were in the Voltage Toyhauler!

We are new owners and took possession of the Park January 1, 2016. We will strive to make any and all changes feasible that have been pointed out in the reviews on line. We have started on some already and hope to get a lot completed by early summer.
Thank you for your patience during our transition period.
