Formed in the 1960's, Pennekamp Park represents over 100 square miles of mangrove shoreline, grass flats, and famous coral reef. Adjacent to Pennekamp (and extending its boundaries out to international waters) is the Key Largo National Marine Sanctuary. |

We have been staying at Boardwark RV in Homestead. The park is lovely and clean, Bathrooms are dated but in good condition, Grounds are lovely and the Manager 'Glenn' is super. I read some not so good comments on this park, but they are certainly out dated. This park is conveniently located, secured by a automatic coded gate. Its really a nice place to be. What impressed us most about this Park was the Manager, Glenn. He was very friendly and helpful....answered calls on off-duty time etc. He made our stay here that much more enjoyable because of his outgoing personality and willingness to answer questions.

Average park but excellent management. The park needs an influx of capital from owners to address some infrastructure issues. However for us the management (Glenn) more than made up for the shortcomings. He was very accommadating, helpful and available after hours. We have been traveling cross country and this is the best manager we have come across - good attitude, capable and helpful. Thank you Glenn.
