Whenever we're in the Rockport area, we always stay at Ancient Oaks. It's easy to get to, has nice big spaces and beautiful big trees with lots of grass. If you're like us and are tired of the concrete parking lots that some RV campgrounds have become, then Ancient Oaks is for you. It's just the right type of rustic w/o being shabby or pothole ridden. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They are pet friendly. You feel like you're "off the beaten path" while being near to area attractions. As we're fully contained and have a customized bathroom as we are both very tall, I haven't tried the showers or bathrooms, but have never heard any negative comments from others while there.
